WireMock is on a mission to build better tools for developers who work with API’s. Our software makes it easy to mock any API you depend on, improving productivity and allowing developers to keep building software rather than wait for finicky or incomplete API’s. WireMock delivers the popular WireMock open source software and WireMock Cloud which is built on top of it. About The Role

We are looking for a motivated SDR who has experience in the tech industry, preferably at an early stage start-up to join us during this exciting building phase. This role will require identifying current users who are likely to convert from a free to paid user as well as performing a significant amount of outbounding. 

A candidate that will find success in this role will lean on their experience and be able to communicate to potential customers how WireMock can work for them. At times you will be the first point of contact for a potential customer, so communication skills, both written and verbal, must be top-notch. This employee will be working closely with an Account Executive, Revenue Operations and reporting to the CEO initially. 


  • Being creative in helping our current free users realize the benefits of becoming Team or Enterprise users. Understanding what the next best step is for a customer based on your research.
  • A/B test your messaging to ensure you are effectively communicating the value of WireMock to our prospective customers. 
  • You will be using Hubspot, Intercom and Mixpanel extensively to analyze users behavior and to engage with prospects. 
  • Drive top of the funnel sales pipeline and set up qualified meetings for our Account Executive. 
  • Work in the office 2-3 days a week and be an integral part of building the culture of Wiremock.


  • You have at least 2+  years of experience as an SDR/BDR at a fast paced tech company, preferably at an early stage startup.  
  • Technical proficiency with Hubspot and other tools such as CRM’s, email automation software and other sales technology.   
  • You have experience selling a very technical product and are able to ramp up on the technology quickly. 
  • You love identifying a customer's needs and offering solutions.
  • You love to collaborate, are curious but you are also okay working independently. 
  • You love the details and making sure you are accurately communicating a product's solutions.
  • Nice to have but not a requirement; you have attended a technical boot camp and/or have a Computer Science background. 
  • Experience prospecting customers through various channels- LinkedIn, phone, email, etc.
