Growth Product Manager - PLG Funnel Optimization

WireMock Cloud is on a mission to build better tools for developers who work with APIs. Our software makes it easy to mock any API you depend on, improving productivity and allowing developers to keep building software rather than waiting for finicky or incomplete APIs. It’s built on the popular WireMock open source framework, and by the same creators.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Growth Product Manager to join our team at WireMock. WireMock Cloud attracts thousands of new free user registrants every month. The Growth Product Manager will be responsible for optimizing our product-led growth (PLG) funnel to drive user acquisition, activation, and retention. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of PLG strategies and tactics, as well as experience in product management and data analysis.

• Develop and execute a product roadmap to optimize the PLG funnel and drive user acquisition, activation, and retention
• Identify opportunities for improvement in user experience, product features, and marketing campaigns
• Develop and launch experiments to test and validate hypotheses
• Analyze data to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement
• Use A/B testing and other experimentation methods to continuously improve the PLG funnel
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user behavior, needs, and preferences
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in PLG and growth marketing

• 7+ years of experience in product management in PLG or growth marketing, preferably in the developer tools space
• Strong understanding of PLG strategies and tactics, including user acquisition, activation, and retention
• Experience in data analysis and using data to drive product decisions
• Experience working in an early stage startup
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a passion for technology and innovation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Must be based in the Bay Area and able to come to the office few times a week - We are a small team and want to build the company culture together, hence the importance of meeting in person in the office
